Dani Chavez is a Los Angeles based artist manager and CMO of FM Group (a division of YMU). Their roster includes Chet Faker, Passion Pit, RAC and most recently, Paris Hilton.
Chavez first joined YMU Group in 2022 as a marketing executive where she spearheaded campaigns for over a dozen acts including international DJ Valentino Khan, South African prodigy Lloyiso and multi-platinum rapper Yung Gravy, whose hit “Betty (Get Money)”
took last year by storm. Additional artists on her roster included Sullivan King, 3LAU, and 4B.
Earlier in her career, she served as the Head of Digital at Ultra Records. In her time there, she oversaw releases from SOFI TUKKER, Icona Pop, NGHTMRE, Steve Aoki, Anabel Englund and more, including the global rollout of Black Coffee’s Grammy award winning album, Subconsciously. She also worked for hip-hop podcaster Reggie Ossé (also known as Combat Jack) and at Shelter PR, a bicoastal personal public relations firm for the likes of Jeff Goldblum and Hilary Swank. A graduate from NYU, she spent her college years at A-Trak & Nick Catchdubs’ Fool’s Gold Records in Brooklyn.
